The discipline of Business Administration was established in 2001 and is currently a university-level cultivated discipline. It offers a provincial first-class undergraduate program in Business Administration and is a member of the "Zhejiang Enterprise Management Research Association." The discipline has four distinctive research directions: Agricultural and Commercial Marketing Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management, Agricultural and Commercial Operations and Digital Management, and Green Supply Chain Management. The discipline has 19 teachers, including seven professors, three associate professors, 11 doctoral degree holders, and 10 master's supervisors.
The discipline of Business Management focuses on a practical teaching system and emphasizes the cultivation of students' abilities to apply theory to practice and analyze and solve problems. It has established a multi-level practical teaching approach, including discipline competitions, simulated training, enterprise planning and consulting, industry visits, and guest lectures by entrepreneurs. Courses such as enterprise research and case analysis, comprehensive internships, and simulated internships have significantly enhanced students' practical skills.
The faculty of the discipline provides guidance to various enterprises in areas such as market marketing, brand planning, excellent performance models, and quality management. They have conducted thousands of training sessions for various organizations, especially for the Zhejiang Government Quality Award, Zhejiang A&F University, Zhejiang Province Agricultural Leading Talent Enhancement Program, and Head Geese Project.
